Join a supportive online studio environment where trumpet and cornet players connect, share experiences, and grow together. Members are invited to participate in occasional live gatherings where we tackle specific topics. Drawing inspiration from the collaborative spirit I've fostered with students at the Kinhaven Music School for over a decade, this community creates a space where players of all levels can find encouragement, practical advice, and genuine connections.

Connect with Paul and Fellow Musicians

With over two decades of experience as a professional musician and educator at institutions like The Juilliard School, Carnegie Hall, and the New York Philharmonic, I'm committed to bringing my teaching approach to this online space. But the real magic happens when community members share their own insights and experiences, creating a rich learning environment for everyone.

Great trumpet playing isn't just about technique—it's about finding your unique musical voice. Our community focuses not only on the fundamentals but also on the creative and artistic aspects that make trumpet playing truly rewarding.

About Paul

I've spent the past two decades working as a professional musician and educator at places like The Juilliard School, Carnegie Hall, the New York Philharmonic, and the Kinhaven Music School. I have taught students of all ages and ability levels. I've taught highly advanced pre-college and collegiate level musicians who've gone on to attend top music schools and work as professional musicians themselves, but I've also started hundreds of trumpet players picking up the instrument for the first time. This gives me unique insight into the challenges and joys of trumpet playing at every level.

My teaching approach combines technical fundamentals with creative expression, ensuring that students develop both the skills and the musical voice needed to truly enjoy playing the trumpet. I'm passionate about creating resources that help you become not only a better trumpet player but a more creative and confident musician.
