Paul's Coaching/Lesson Hours 

I strive to maintain regular coaching/lesson hours from September to early June during these times (ET), bookings are subject to availability:

• Tuesdays 6-10pm ET
• Wednesdays 8-10pm ET
• Thursdays 6-10pm ET
• Sundays 8am-2pm ET

During June through August, my online availability is more limited and session requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. I typically update my schedule annually in late summer or early fall.

Scheduling Sessions

After purchasing a coaching session or bundle, clients will be able to view session packages and schedule individual sessions by logging in and visiting your purchase library at www.trumpetwithpaul.com/library 

Rescheduling Sessions

I'm committed to maintaining reliable schedules that work for both of us. Here's how we can work together:

• Clients may reschedule with at least 24 hours notice before a scheduled session time through the session website interface or by using the "reschedule" link in the confirmation email.
• Occasional rescheduling with proper notice is perfectly fine

Late Changes & Missed Sessions

• Changes with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeited session credits
• No-shows will result in a forfeited session credit
• Excessive rescheduling may result in forfeited session credits

If Paul Needs to Reschedule 

If Paul needs to reschedule (which is rare), he will:

• Contact you promptly
• Work with you to find a suitable alternative time
• Make appropriate arrangements to ensure you receive your session

New Clients

New clients are encouraged to first schedule a 15-minute trial session with Paul to meet briefly and to make sure the online format will be a good fit for you. There is no charge for this optional meeting. 

Online Coaching Bundles

Clients looking to transform their playing through focused, goal-oriented sessions may prefer to book a short-term coaching bundle instead of pursuing more traditional lessons. Paul will adapt each 60-min session to your unique needs. Common areas of focus include improving fundamental technique, preparing for auditions, or working on specific repertoire. Coaching Bundles are available in packages of 3, 5, or 10 sessions and can be scheduled within a 6-month window. Coaching sessions should be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, and are subject to availability.

Session Expiration

To ensure the best possible progress in your playing, coaching bundles and sessions are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. This allows us to maintain momentum in your development while working through the package at a reasonable pace. Any unused sessions will expire after the 6-month period.

I encourage you to schedule your sessions well in advance to ensure you can use them within the validity period. If you anticipate any challenges completing your sessions within 6 months, please contact me at [email protected] to discuss your situation.

Traditional Lessons

Regular weekly or biweekly lessons are the most cost-effective way to study one-on-one with Paul. For interested students, Paul will work with you to find a regular lesson time—this is something that can be discussed at your trial session. This becomes your regular lesson time during the academic year, with returning students having priority for their preferred slots each fall. Lessons are available as 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions and can be booked through lessonface.com's platform, where subscribers receive 20% off regular single session rates. 

Zoom Audio Settings

Unfortunately, Zoom's default audio settings block loud instruments like the trumpet. Therefore, you must enable the "Original Sound" feature on your computer or "Original Audio" feature on your tablet to ensure your trumpet can be heard clearly: 

1. Enable "Original Sound" in Zoom audio settings
2. Click "Turn on Original Sound" in the top corner of your Zoom window

Digital Materials Usage

To support your learning journey, I'm happy to provide various supplementary digital materials. These may include but are not limited to:

• Video/audio recordings of coaching sessions
• PDF resources and sheet music
• Other learning materials

To ensure quality instruction for all clients, these materials are for your personal study only. You agree to:

• Use materials solely for your personal study and practice
• Not share or distribute materials on social media platforms or in other public or commercial settings

I offer a 30-day refund policy for all trumpetwithpaul.com purchases: 

Digital Courses

• You may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date
• Your refund will be processed using your original payment method
• No questions asked - I trust my students and respect your decision

Coaching Sessions

• Unused coaching sessions are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase - no questions asked. I trust my students and respect your decision
• Once a coaching session has occured, it is considered used and is not eligible for a refund
• For partially used coaching bundles, I can offer pro-rata refunds within 30 days of purchase (e.g., if you've already used 2 sessions from a 10-session bundle, you'll receive a refund for the 8 unused sessions)
• Rescheduling or cancelling of coaching sessions is handled separately under the scheduling policy

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within 30 days of your purchase date, please email [email protected] with:

2. Your purchase date
3. The product you'd like refunded

My team will process your refund request within 5 business days.

After the 30-Day Period

• After 30 days from the purchase date, trumpetwithpaul.com is unable to offer refunds
• This policy helps maintain the quality and integrity of services available on www.trumpetwithpaul.com
• You are encouraged to reach out with any concerns before the refund period expires
